iPhone 5 case designs have been apparently leaked, and are accessible ‘everywhere’ in China. What if these exact case dimensions were taken and outsourced to a graphic designer to render them into real life? That’s exactly what MacRumors did when they hired Italian firm Ciccarese Design, the team behind the beautiful ‘iPhone Air’ concept.
The final dimensions of the new design are calculated to be: 4.33″ x 2.36″ and .27″ thickness at the top and .21″ at the bottom In comparison, the iPhone 4 dimensions are: 4.5″ x 2.31″ x .37″. So the new design is actually shorter than the existing iPhone 4, but slightly wider and thinner.
Take a look at the pictures below, and you’ll see the Home button has adopted a wider shape to adopt possible gestures, tapered edges, and a larger screen.
Will the iPhone 5 looks similar to the images above? I think they look pretty damn good, if those alleged cases are real. We’ll have to wait and see.

I really hope that this is NOT the new iPhone!  Don’t like it at all, especially the thicker at the top thinner on the bottom design!.. or the fact that it’s the same screen size!  If it is i will not be upgrading this year

I totally agree. If apple doesn’t step it up soon and show us their new phone, I maybe embracing the droid too. Hasn’t the recent storm of reports about all the malware and viruses on android made you a lil wary tho?

Blech. Not a fan of this look. Then again, I’m sure I’ll be buying it no matter what it looks like, and I’ll just grow to love it. I hope this doesn’t happen though.

Not really too worried about any of that to be honest, a few of my friends have had android phones for a while now and they haven’t come across any malware or viruses. I’m pretty good with keeping my PC/laptop virus free even without virus scanners, so i dont think i’ll have a huge issue keeping any of my phones free of that junk
