According to Digitimes, Pegatron Technology will ship the iPhone 5 in September. The company has landed orders for 10 million units, according to sources.
Pegatron Technology has landed orders for 10 million units of iPhone 5 to become the second ODM of the smartphone. Shipments will start in September
The report goes on to mention Pegatron will compete for other orders of Apple products such as the iPad, MacBook Air, and has increased production and employment in the process. A previous report noted Taiwan-based Pegatron had landed 15 million orders for the iPhone 5, to also ship in September.
One previous launch date by ATD noted an October iPhone 5 launch, and also other reports of a Telus launch date on October 1st. However, today more reports reiterated a September release.
