Alongside the SaskTel iPhone 4 announcement today, MTS has quietly revealed that it too will be launching the iPhone 4 on April 26.
While the MTS website still shows the iPhone 4 as “coming soon”, the information page has been updated with a brief statement:
MTS is proud to be launching the iPhone 4 on April 26th. On that date, you can visit mts.ca or an MTS Connect Store for pricing and other details.
What a great week for news for Saskatchewan and Manitoba residents!
As previously reported, the iPhone 4 will be available on a 3-year contract for $159/$269 for 16 GB/32 GB. The device will also be available outright (but locked to MTS) for $649/$749 for 16 GB/32 GB.

never heard of MTS who are they? who are they owned by? who would in their right mind would buy outright from a carrier to be locked to their network? buy from apple fully factory unlocked!
They are a wireless carrier in Manitoba.
