Password manager 1Password has released version 7.7 for Mac users, debuting new features including Apple Watch Unlock for the app for Macs with Secure Enclave. This version also supports Apple Silicon M1 Macs as well.

If you’re not seeing 1Password 7.7 it in the Mac App Store yet, the company says they already submitted it and it should be out shortly.

The new Apple Watch unlocked for 1Password means you’ll be able to double-tap your watch to unlock the app, instead of reaching for Touch ID on your Mac, saving time.

There’s also an update to 1Password X, offering an improved inline experience in Safari, anticipating what fields you need to fill on your Mac.

1Password 7.7 also includes a refreshed item detail design, along with the password generator.

This update is free for existing 1Password 7 users. New users can click here to learn more about 1Password 7.7 for Mac.
