Apple has released macOS Big Sur 11.0.1 beta, build 20B5012d for developers this morning.

While macOS 11.0 has not been released yet, the availability of 11.0.1 beta hints we should be seeing macOS 11 sometime soon.

Apple’s timeline for the release of macOS 11 is sometime this fall. The company is expected to unveil its first Apple Silicon Mac, rumoured to take place at an event in November. If that happens, expect Apple to announce the release of macOS Big Sur 11 that day.
