Apple has just released macOS Catalina 10.15 golden master (GM) seed for developers, build 19A582a, signalling an imminent public release. Golden master versions are the final versions consumers will get in the final release.
The company only stated the final release of macOS Catalina was coming in “October”, so the release could be out by next week or so.
Once macOS Catalina is available for the public, it will finally bring Apple Arcade to the Mac App Store.
Apple Music, Apple TV and Apple Podcasts will get their own apps in Catalina, while Notes and Reminders get updated with new layouts and features. Sidecar will let users turn their iPads into secondary displays, while Screen Time also debuts on the Mac, after first launching on iOS.
