Are you still waiting for your Apple Silicon 13-inch MacBook Pro? Some customers that ordered the new M1 MacBook Pro on November 10 are now seeing further delivery delays for their configurations.

According to iPhone in Canada reader Randy, he says his November 10 order of an M1 MacBook Pro with 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD keeps getting delayed by Apple. Originally it was said to deliver in 2-3 weeks by December 3 to December 11, but now it has been further delayed into 2021.

Randy says on Thursday, his M1 MacBook Pro order was updated with a delivery date of January 15 to 21, 2021. This delay appears to be tied to orders with RAM and SSD upgrades.

“I didn’t receive an email with any notification or reason for the delay,” said Randy, adding “This is the first time I have ever had Apple change a shipping date. I’ve tried calling to get an explanation but their [1-800] number isn’t allowing you to talk to a live agent.”

Are you seeing any delays with your M1 MacBook Pro, MacBook Air or Mac mini orders?
