Apple’s New ‘iPhone SE’ Launch Date Rumoured for April 3

9to5Mac says it has received information from sources saying Apple’s new iPhone 9—actually, make that iPhone SE—will launch on Friday, April 3, 2020. Yes, that is tomorrow for those unaware of calendars anymore due to self-isolation and binge-watching of Tiger King.

“Based on the new information 9to5Mac has learned, Apple will simply call the new entry-level model “iPhone SE” while referencing the new hardware as the 2020 version,” reports Zac Hall.

This new iPhone SE will be available in white, black and PRODUCT (RED), while also have 64GB, 128GB and 256GB capacities.

Apple will also launch five iPhone SE cases in black and white silicone, while three leather cases will be available in red, black and midnight blue.

The new 2020 iPhone SE is rumoured to sport the design from Apple’s iPhone 8 and also include Express Card and future CarKey features.

If Apple does have a quiet announcement of the iPhone SE tomorrow, the usual suspects on YouTube may already have the device under embargo, such as MKBHD.

A previous ‘iPhone 9’ launch claimed Apple would announce the device on April 15. Let’s wait and see what happens, folks.
