Earlier this week, Bloomberg reported Apple had considered naming its new premium iPhone models ‘iPhone Xs’, and now we have an unboxing video on the web of what is a clone from China of the new rumoured 6.5-inch model ‘iPhone Xs Plus’ model.
The video comes from YouTube channel EverythingApplePro, which paid $200 USD for the clone from China, which runs an Android skin to replicate iOS.
The unboxing details the physical nature of a larger 6.5-inch iPhone and how it compares to the existing 5.8-inch iPhone X. The clone’s design looks identical to an iPhone X, even down to the box.
The clone nails down some extreme details, even having a ‘notch’, plus includes wireless charging. The display does not go all the way to the bottom of the device as the chin is fatter than normal compared to the iPhone X.
Check out the video below to see how much work went into the Android software of this Chinese ‘iPhone Xs Plus’ clone:
Apple is rumoured to hold its iPhone special event on September 12, where it is expected to unveil a trio of new models for 2018.
