Amazon Reveals Top-Selling Prime Day Deals, Members ‘Saved More Than $1.4 Billion’

After two days of savings for Prime Day this year, Amazon has revealed its top-selling items globally and in Canada, noting worldwide, its members “saved more than $1.4 billion”.

Here are the most popular Prime Day items sold in Canada:

Amazon says its new Echo Dot was the most popular item purchased on Prime Day globally, while some other popular items were the Bose QuietComfort 35 (Series II) Wireless Headphones, Fitbit Versa 2 Health and Fitness Smartwatch.

The United States saw these items as the most popular on Prime Day: iRobot Roomba Robot Vacuum, MyQ Wireless & WiFi Enabled Smart Garage Door Opener, LifeStraw Personal Water Filter, Goli Apple Cider Vinegar Vitamins, and Kids Against Maturity: Card Game for Kids and Families.

The company says “customers purchased millions of Alexa compatible devices during the Prime Day event,” with more Fire TV Edition Smart TVs purchased this year compared to previous years, with a record number of the latter sold.

“We are thrilled that Prime Day was a record-breaking event for small and medium businesses worldwide, with sales surpassing $3.5 billion—an increase of nearly 60% from last year,” said Jeff Wilke, CEO Worldwide Consumer, in a statement.
