Today Apple released a new 90-second holiday ad called “The Song,” which follows their 2013 award-winning holiday ad called “Misunderstood.”
The holiday ad is centred around a girl who comes across an old record from her grandparents, which includes a personal message and a rendition of “Love is Here to Stay” sung by her grandmother. After finding the record, the girl learns and records her own version of the song and combines it with the original to create a duet. The girl leaves an iPad mini with a note for her grandmother as a holiday gift.
The ad showcases the power to create thoughtful gifts with a Mac, iPad, or iPhone. Here is the full version of the company’s new holiday ad:
The ad is currently featured on Apple’s website and has been added to the company’s YouTube channel.
