Apple Highlights Cinematic Short Film Shot on iPhone 11 Pro in Tokyo [VIDEO]

Earlier today, press reviewers published their early reviews of Apple’s latest iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max loaner devices.

Reviewers praised the upgraded cameras, longer battery life and the new Night mode, allowing users to now shoot improved images in low light environments.

Now, Apple has highlighted a handful of early iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro reviews, in a press release.

“Reviewers and creators from around the world are weighing in on iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. Here are some of their early reactions and images,” explains Apple.

California native, Andy To, who currently lives in New York City, shot a short film with iPhone 11 Pro in 4K from the streets of Tokyo. You can check out this video below:

According to To, he explains, “I went to Tokyo with the new iPhone 11 Pro to put it to the test. The objective of this video is to deliver a visual story showcasing my journey to Japan. The story starts in Tokyo, a progressive futuristic city that’s a beautiful backdrop for the fast paced editing style that I love to do.”

He says “no external lenses” were used and also the software for filming was just the iPhone camera app. It’s an impressive video.



“Huge thank you to Apple for believing in my vision and for helping me bring this to life,” explains To, who edited the video with Final Cut Pro X on his laptop. The creator has previously filmed other iPhone series short films in Toronto, New York, Chicago and more.

The other reviews highlighted essentially mention the new A13 Bionic and more gushing about these new cameras in iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro.

Apple is set to launch iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max in Canada this Friday, September 20.
