Apple Beijing Event Just Replay of Cupertino Event; Also in Tokyo, Berlin

Last night it was reported Apple had invited members of the press in China to hold a special event, which was believed to be a separate simultaneous iPhone event for the country to possibly announce the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C.
AllThingsD now clarifies this will be just a streamed replay of the Cupertino iPhone event, not unique on the ground announcements. Similar events will be held in Tokyo an Berlin as well. These occurrences aren’t new, but it’s a first to hold a satellite event in China:
That said, this is the first time the company has ever held a satellite launch event in China, one of its most important markets. And its scheduling will almost certainly add heft to rumors that Apple is preparing to announce China Mobile as a new carrier partner in the country.
China Mobile is the world’s largest mobile carrier with over 700 million users. A highly anticipated iPhone announcement with the network would be a boom for Apple in China.
