Apple’s Next Massive Campus in Sunnyvale Previewed by Drone [VIDEO]

Last fall it was revealed Apple had leased a massive 777,000 square foot site in Sunnyvale, to be destined for its second ‘spaceship-like’ headquarters.

The new campus is set to showcase a three-leaf clover design, with curved glass panes, in what is expected to be another stunning world class headquarters design. The upcoming complex is said to house up to 3,800 Apple employees.

It now appears the site’s construction is well underway, according to new drone footage filmed by Matthew Roberts (who documents Apple Campus 2 construction monthly), dubbed ‘Apple Campus 3’.

The video below, at just over two-minutes long, shows the 18-acre site developing the three-leaf clover structure, with concrete already being poured and construction cranes everywhere:

Earlier this spring, Sunnyvale Mayor Glenn Hendricks told the Mercury News, “Apple coming here is a game changer for Sunnyvale,” adding “It shows how the tech industry views Sunnyvale. The expansions of tech companies here are a reminder of how Silicon Valley is an innovation economy.”
