Apple’s Video Editing App ‘Clips’ Downloaded Up to 1 Million Times in First 4 Days

Apple’s video creation app Clips was downloaded between 500,000 and 1 million times within the first four days, according to estimates from App Annie. Even with a large number of downloads, the title has yet to crack the iOS App Store’s top 20 list.

App Annie statistics show Clips achieve its highest ranking, which was No. 28, a day after the app launched last Thursday. Despite an aggressive advertising push and a prominent banner ad at the top of the App Store, interest in Clips is quickly decreasing.

Clips, as the name suggests, lets users combine several video clips, images, and photos with voice-based titles, music, filters, and graphics to create enhanced videos that are up to an hour in length.

Videos created with Clips can be shared via the Messages app or shared on various social networks like Instagram and Facebook. Clips is available as a free download from the App Store.
