Click Like on This #AppleEvent Tweet and See the Cool Animation

Today is Apple’s big iPhone 13 special event day, set to kick off at 10AM PDT/1PM EDT.

Aside from the recently activated #AppleEvent hashflag on Twitter, a new animation has been added when you click ‘like’ on any tweet containing the tag. When a user clicks the ‘like’ icon, the heart animates into an Apple logo before turning into a heart.

During last year’s iPhone 12 event, there was a similar special animation whenever users liked a tweet with the #AppleEvent tag.

At the top of the hour on Tuesday morning, Apple CEO Tim Cook tweeted, “Good morning from somewhere a little different this time. We’re California streaming in 3 hours! See you soon.” An image of a desert was teased, suggesting something new in today’s special presentation.

Apple is expected to announce its new iPhone 13 line up today, along with an update to Apple Watch, revealing Series 7.
