Apple says “There’s something undeniably fresh about the experiences DrinkBox creates. Just look at its astounding RPG, Severed. The game’s strange premise, gorgeous graphics, and smart gameplay earned it critical acclaim—not to mention our 2016 iPad Game of the Year.”

Severed launched last fall and won Best Musical Score at the 2016 Canadian Video Game Awards.

The App Store sections also lists ‘Games that inspired the team’, which includes the likes of Fruit Ninja, Monument Valley, Infinity Blade and more.

Another section lists ‘The studio’s favourite games to play’, which has titles such as Clash Royale and Lara Croft GO.
