Google has just announced its Pixel 5 5G smartphone and as in line with leaks, pricing for this new flagship is $799 in Canada, which includes 128GB of storage.
The water-resistant Pixel 5 is available for pre-order today in Canada and will launch on October 29, 2020, from Bell, Best Buy, Freedom, Tbooth, TELUS, Videotron and WIRELESSWAVE.
Google’s Pixel 5 is available in Just Black or Sorta Sage, has a 6-inch OLED Smooth Display (1080 x 2340; 432 ppi; 90 Hz), to go with a 4,080 mAh battery, 8GB RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor and Titan M security module.
The smartphone now has 12 MP dual-pixel and a 16 MP ultrawide camera for the first time, while the front camera is an 8 MP shooter. The Pixel 5 has stereo speakers and USB-C audio–there’s no 3.5 mm audio jack.
Cinematic Pan brings ultrasmooth panning for videos, while Night Sight is now available in Portrait Mode. For shooting pictures with a backlight, Pixel can add extra light into your photo for you. As for Google Photos, there’s now a new photo editor.
The Adaptive Battery feature extends battery life to 48 hours, while the Pixel 5 also has Battery Share, to let you wirelessly charge your Pixel Buds.
Pixel 5 is made with 100% recycled aluminum for its back housing, while purchases of the phone include Stadia and YouTube Premium trials for 3 months, to go with 100GB of Google One storage and 3 months of Google Play Pass.
