Google Pixel 5a to Reportedly Release on August 26th for $450
According to a new report by leaker Jon Prosser, Google is gearing up to release the Pixel 5a on August 26th for $450. Based on leaked renders, the device will look nearly identical to its predecessor, complete with the same screen size, selfie camera placement, camera layout, and rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Prosser notes that the Pixel 5a will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G 5G chipset and have 6GB of RAM. There’ll be a 4650MaH battery but no wireless charging support. The device is expected to have a 6.4-inch display and a single Mostly Black colour option.

The Pixel 5a will feature a unibody plastic build similar to its predecessors. The device measures 156.2 x 73.2 x 8.8mm (9.4mm with the camera bump), which is closer to the Pixel 4a 5G’s dimensions (153.9 x 74 x 8.2 mm).
I guess we’ll find out more about the device over the next couple of weeks.
