Amazon.ca is holding a promo right now on Google’s Chromecast, essentially Google’s ‘rival’ to the Apple TV. The Chromecast retails for $39, but if you pick one up from Amazon.ca you’ll get $20 in Google Play credit towards movies, music and more.

The Google Chromecast is an HDMI dongle launched in Canada back in March and can stream content from iOS, Android, Mac, Windows and Chromebooks to your TV. Apps such as YouTube, Google Play Movies, Netflix, Songza and VEVO are available to turn your TV into an entertainment centre, plus stream from your Chrome browser as well. The Chromecast iOS app helps you setup the device for your household.
The $39 Chromecast was already a decent deal—this $20 Google Play credit theoretically takes it down to $19. Not bad at all!
The offer goes until June 30, 2014 and once your $20 credit has been added to your account, you need to use it by July 30, 2014. Right now, this promotion is good in Canada only for Canadian residents.
Click here to jump on the Chromecast from Amazon.ca–free shipping is included.
