After dismantling the iPhone 12 Pro Max, iFixit naturally tore apart an iPhone 12 mini (EU version) as well.

Inside the iPhone 12 mini, iFixit reveals the Taptic Engine inside measures 15.14 mm x 10.9 mm x 3.44 mm—which it says is “25% smaller than the Taptic Engine in the 12 and 12 Pro.”

The iPhone 12 mini also has two display cables instead of three found in the iPhone 12, along with a 2,227 mAh battery with 8.57 Wh, more than the 6.96 Wh battery found in the 2020 iPhone SE. In comparison, the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro has a 10.78 Wh battery.

iFixit says it will reveal part two of its iPhone 12 mini teardown tomorrow.
