Instagram Hits 600 Million Users; 70 Million Photos and Videos Shared Daily

Facebook’s Instagram has announced they have surpassed 600 million users, with 100 million joining in just the past six months:

Today we’re proud to announce our community has grown to more than 600 million Instagrammers. And the last 100 million of you joined in just the past six months.

 

Yesterday, Instagram introduced a new ‘saved posts’ feature similar to Pinterest, while earlier this month noted new privacy features are coming, such as being able to disable comments on posts.
