Yesterday Apple released iOS 12 beta 8 for developers, and shortly afterwards, iOS 12 Public beta 6 was made available for public testers.
iOS 12 public beta 6 is version 16A5357b, which is the same as iOS 12 beta 8 for developers. Yes, the beta numbers don’t match up, but the actual versions are the same.
So with this latest public beta 6, public testers will see the removal of Group FaceTime, while the markup tool has been improved. When you now double-tap on a markup instrument, a pop-up menu appears to make it easier to select thickness, while a slider lets you adjust the colour.
There are still a handful of betas left until Apple will release iOS 12 to the public, which is expected to take place in September, when many believe the company will launch new iPhone models again.
