Apple Introduces ‘Made for Business’ Program in Select Stores

iOS 14.5 Code References ‘A14X’ Chip, Possibly for Next iPad Pro
Apple today released iOS 14.5 beta 5 for developers and found within the latter’s code, are references to a GPU chip named “13G”, which 9to5Mac’s Filipe Esposito says is the next version of the A14 Bionic, or ‘A14X’, based information it has received.
The site says the ‘A14X’ discovered is based on the T8103, or codename for Apple’s M1 chip found in its latest Apple Silicon Macs. The revelation seemingly ties into a recent Bloomberg report which says refreshed iPad Pro models will have performance similar to an M1 chip.
Also discovered by 9to5Mac are codenames for new iPad models: J517, J518, J522, and J523.
Apple’s rumoured iPad Pro refresh is said to debut as early as April, and will include improved cameras, a Thunderbolt port and also Mini-LED display technology for the larger 12.9-inch model.
Also suggesting new iPad Pro models are imminent is the recent lack of updates for Xcode, which can be used to locate upcoming model numbers; Apple in the past has delayed updates to prevent its new devices from being leaked.
