Apple has released new betas, including iOS 14 beta 8 and more, as we count down the weeks to final releases.

The timeframe between beta releases has decreased to just six days, as iOS 14 beta 7 hit developers on September 3rd. This is a sign Apple is quickly approaching its eventual golden master release, and eventually a final build for the masses.
Apple announced yesterday a special event is coming next week on September 15, so it’s widely expected final release dates for iOS 14, iPadOS 14, watchOS 7 and tvOS 14 will be revealed at the virtual event. The company is expected to unveil new Apple Watch models next week, but not an iPhone, according to numerous reports.
