iOS 8.1 Beta Download Plus Xcode 6.1 Beta Seeded to Developers

Following earlier reports Apple was rumoured to fast track versions of iOS 8.1 through iOS 8.3, the company has now seeded iOS 8.1 beta to developers, build 12B401.

Also available is Xcode 6.1 beta, build 6A1042b, plus an updated version of Apple TV Software beta.

For developers looking to install iOS 8.1 beta, Apple says the following:

Devices updated to iOS 8.1 beta can not be restored to earlier versions of iOS. Only registered development devices will be able to upgrade to future beta releases and the final iOS software.
