‘iPhone 11’ May Get ‘Pro’ Naming Scheme Says Reliable Leaker

Apple’s iPhone naming scheme for 2018 resulted in the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR.

All three names were nailed by anonymous leaker @CoinX last year ahead of Apple’s September event, and now the latter is back again with what appears to be hints on what to expect for 2019.

““Pro” for iPhone? Crazy naming schemes over the past few years,” tweeted CoinX late yesterday evening.

Everyone expects Apple to call its next smartphone ‘iPhone 11’ (iPhone XI), but will we see a “Pro” designation for this year?

If you check out CoinX’s Twitter timeline, it’s eerily accurate, with his leaks correctly identifying iPad details prior to this spring’s iPad launches and also iPhone details from last year.

A recent rumour also suggested this year’s iPad Pro refresh could come with a triple-lens rear camera setup, which is expected for ‘iPhone 11’.

Do you think this year’s iPhone line up will get a ‘Pro’ designation?
