Apple has conveniently reminded everybody today in a press release its iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 12 mini and HomePod mini will launch pre-orders in Canada on Friday, November 6.
iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 12 mini will launch on November 13 and also hit Apple Stores that day, while HomePod mini will launch on Monday, November 16.
After first launching iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro, we’re now onto the highly-anticipated iPhone 12 Pro Max. This phone is “nearly identical size to iPhone 11 Pro Max,” says Apple and has a 6.7-inch display. It has advantages over the regular iPhone 12 Pro as its camera sensors are suited for even better lowlight photography.

The iPhone 12 mini has all the same features of the iPhone 12, but in a smaller form factor and 5.4-inch display. For those seeking a smaller iPhone experience, we have a feeling this is going to be really popular.

Apple’s latest HomePod mini is a smaller version of the regular HomePod and is aggressively priced at $129 CAD, putting it in line with the Echo and Nest Audio. HomePod mini can be setup in stereo pairs, while new Intercom and handoff features will make this an interesting speaker addition in the home. Let’s hope Siri is up to the challenge versus Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.
HomePod mini will work with iPhone SE, iPhone 6s or later, or iPod touch (7th generation) running iOS 14; or iPad Pro, iPad (5th generation or later), iPad Air 2 or later, or iPad mini 4 or later running iPadOS 14.
iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 12 mini and HomePod mini pre-orders in Canada will start at 5AM PST on Friday, November 6, 2020.
