iPhone 6 / iPhone 6 Plus to Launch in 15+ Countries on Sept. 26

Apple has confirmed that its second wave of iPhone 6 / iPhone 6 Plus launches will kick off in more than 15 countries on September 26, 9to5Mac reports. It seems that a number of Apple’s websites all over the globe are now listing the September 26 order date. Meanwhile, Apple’s site for the United Arab Emirates lists a date of September 27.

Below is a list of countries that have listed the September 26 order date for iPhone 6 / iPhone 6 Plus:

  • Switzerland
  • Italy
  • New Zealand
  • Sweden
  • Netherlands
  • Spain
  • Denmark
  • Ireland
  • Norway
  • Luxembourg
  • Russia
  • Austria
  • Turkey
  • Finland

While Apple is accepting orders in these countries starting Sept. 26, the source notes that some carriers are accepting preorders even before that date. It is however still unclear when exactly devices will ship in these countries.

Apple had announced at the media event that new iPhones will rollout in 115 countries by year’s end, while preorders for customers in the US, France, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, Singapore, United Kingdom, Australia, and Japan would start this Friday

Yeah I remember that…. and launching in more countries the week after tells me…. there’s a lot of iPhone 6 ready… because when they didn’t have enough stock, they didn’t launch in other countries so quickly…
