16GB iPhone 6s Option ‘Confirmed’, New Apple Watch Bands Coming: Report

9to5Mac’s Mark Gurman has now ‘confirmed’ Apple will retain its 16GB storage option for their next iPhone 6s models, which will have the same storage and contract pricing as last year’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

If this is the case, then we will probably see iPhone 6s pricing in Canada similar to last year—but probably higher given our Canadian dollar is so low right now:

Last week we saw an alleged box detail 16GB as a storage tier for the next iPhone.

Also, the next iPhones are said to also include 7000 series aluminum to make for a stronger shell, which we’ve already seen demonstrated in an alleged video detailing its updated strength (good-bye ‘bendgate’).

Gurman’s sources also claim we will see new Apple Watch Sport bands debut at next week’s special event, with colours similar to those design chief Jony Ive previously showed off at a design gala in Milan.

Sources also say the ‘iPhone 6c’ is not expected to debut next week.

As for the iPhone 6s, it’s expected to feature Force Touch, a 12MP rear camera capable of 4K video, A9 processor, 2GB of RAM and a new pink/rose gold colour option. We’ll find out soon enough—just one more week to go.
