Photographers Show NYE Celebrations Around the World with iPhone 7

As we ring in the New Year, it’s important to reflect on all of the great things that happened in the tech world in 2016. Some of the most relevant technologies are now in the palm of our hand, and from live streaming video to new smartphone features, this past year gave us more ways to capture and share experiences than ever before.

When midnight strikes, many countries made use of grand displays of pyrotechnics to celebrate the new year with a bang. And what better way to capture these beautiful moments that with our smartphones?

Apple partnered with 15 different photographers from around the world to highlight various festivities caputred exclusively on iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus devices.

For example, “travel writer and iPhone photographer Samah El Ali’s stunning photos show off the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge fireworks from The Royal Botanic Gardens in Australia,” reads CNN’s report. “The final photo will come from photojournalist John Lehmann shooting the party scene in Vancouver.”

So, as we look back on 2016 and celebrate and look forward to 2017, here’s a look at what’s been captured by Apple’s selected photographers during New Year celebrations.
