Leaker Claims Magic Keyboard Might be Coming to More iPads

New information from an Apple leaker has us wondering whether we might get a non-iPad Pro Magic Keyboard.

Although Apple rolled out full support for using a mouse and trackpad across all iPad models with the iPadOS 13.4 update back in March, it conspicuously didn’t provide an actual hardware keyboard and trackpad solution for anything other than its flagship iPad Pro models.

A tweet from noted tipster @L0vetodream, however, indicates that Apple could be working on bringing the Magic Keyboard to other iPad models, not just the iPad Pro. The leaker simply tweeted, “in my dream Magic keyboard not only for the iPad Pro.”

@L0vetodream is known for leaking information it gets in a “dream.” It didn’t reveal its sources for this recent claim, but if its track record is anything to go by, the claim might likely be accurate. According to AppleTrack, a website that keeps track of leaks made about Cupertino’s products, @L0vetodream is “90.5% accurate.” That means it makes accurate predictions more than nine times per 10 claims.

There is no word on when this will happen, but this might be good news for regular iPad users who are looking for a keyboard accessory to accompany their devices. While there are plenty of third-party keyboards that iPad users can already use, the advantage to the Magic Keyboard is the trackpad that will make the tablet feel more like a laptop and will help boost productivity.
