Here’s the first hands-on look at Apple’s upcoming leather MagSafe cases for the new iPhone 12 lineup.
Apple announced its MagSafe Leather Case for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro lineups last month but, so far, we can’t buy them. The folks at Macerkopf, however, seem to have gotten their hands on the cases, giving us our first look at arguably the best case the Cupertino company makes.
A video shared via a blog post by Macerkopf shows three new leather cases complete with the MagSafe magnets that we’d expect to see. The three cases give us a look at all three iPhone sizes and, once again, confirm just how small that iPhone 12 mini is going to be.
According to the leak, the covers are made out of high-quality leather, and the inside is lined with a suede-like material. The outside is a smooth surface, but with no slipping of any sort, and the MagSafe works just as intended.
As far as the pricing is concerned, we still cannot be sure how much the cases are going to sell for and what other colour options will be available, but for now, we have to make do with the brown and black.
Interestingly, Macerkopf believes that the new Apple MagSafe Leather Case for iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max will all go on sale this coming Friday. That’s also the same date that iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max will be made available for pre-order, too.
