Proton Introduces All-in-One Mail, VPN, Calendar, and Drive Subscription

Proton has just announced a major update for its privacy-by-default ecosystem by introducing a new all-in-one Proton subscription for its VPN, Mail, Drive, and Calendar services.

Proton

Using the new unified proton.me website, subscribers can access all of Proton’s services, including Proton Mail, Proton VPN, Proton Calendar, and Proton Drive. The functionality of all services, however, remains the same, and users will still be able to use the company’s free VPN and free email service.

“By unifying Proton’s products, both technically and aesthetically, we are making privacy more accessible and enjoyable than ever before for everyone,” said Varun Kabra, CMO of Proton.

With the introduction of more services, Proton Mail has become just Proton to many people, and moving our website from protonmail.com to proton.me is a recognition of that fact. It was also necessary as we plan to launch even more privacy services in the future.

We’re also launching two new plans, Proton Unlimited and Proton Business, which combine all of our services into one easy subscription so you can benefit from all our premium features.

A 1-month Proton Unlimited plan now costs US $9.99, whereas a 1-year plan comes in at US $5.99 a month. You can learn more about updated Proton pricing and plans here.
