Nomad Debuts 30W USB-C Power Adapter, Durable Sport Cables

Nomad Goods, maker of compact, durable mobile accessories for Apple products and more, has just launched a new 30W USB-C power adapter and nylon-braided ‘Sport Cables’ in every connector option you could possibly need.

Nomad 30W USB-C Power Adapter ($29.95 USD)

The new 30W GaN power adapter from Nomad comes in a super small form factor and supports USB-C Power Delivery for all your charging needs. According to Nomad, the adapter is only slightly larger than your typical white 5W charger from Apple but delivers six times as much power. It is the same size as their 20W offering, but with a substantial bump in charging speed.

The adapter carries Nomad’s signature, minimalistic design in a sleek black colour, and is available to order right now (starts shipping today).

Nomad Nylon-Braided Sport Cable ($24.95 USD)

Nomad’s new Sport Cables feature a nylon braid outer sheath and rugged overmolded plastic tips for durability, as well as Nomad’s signature integrated cable tie. They are MFi Certified and expected to offer strength and a degree of ruggedness comparable to their kevlar-coated cables, coming in at a lower price point.

Sport Cables from Nomad are available in three different options — USB-C to USB-C, USB-C to Lightning, and USB-A to Lightning, all at 2m in length for $24.95 USD.
