The Pebble smart watch is repatriating back to the Great White North as Future Shop and Best Buy have announced they are now the exclusive Canadian retailers of the device, which previously was only available online for Canadians (the watch made its US retail debut at Best Buy this summer).
The watch was created by Vancouver-born Eric Migicovsky, who is now famous for his record-breaking Kickstarter campaign that raised $10.2 million with almost 69,000 backers.
Pre-orders will be available this Friday, October 25 at $149.99 (the same price as the USA), with a shipping date expected in mid-November we’re told. A Future Shop spokesman shared the following promo video via email with us:
