Electric vehicle maker and Volvo subsidiary Polestar has once again shared its plans for Apple CarPlay release, announcing that it expects to add support for the feature in its cars this spring as originally planned, Tesla North is reporting.

We are “excited to be in the final development stages” for Apple CarPlay and that “it’s coming soon,” added the automaker, which delayed Apple CarPlay release from summer to the fall of 2021, and then again to spring 2022. The company also noted that the CarPlay connection will be wired via USB only with no wireless support.

Apple’s CarPlay feature allows for an easy connection to one’s iPhone and offers an optimized automotive touchscreen experience with quick access to Messages, maps, Apple Music, and more.

Pricing for the 2023 Polestar 2 was shared for Canada and the U.S. earlier this month, starting at $53,950 (CAD) and $48,400 (USD), respectively, for the single-motor configuration.

Polestar also shared plans for its O2 convertible roadster concept which includes a flying drone this year, in addition to teasing the Polestar Precept or Polestar 5, set to be delivered in 2024.
