‘Sonic Dash+’ Now Available on Apple Arcade

Grab your red shoes as Sonic Dash+ is now available on Apple Arcade and there are golden rings to collect.

To coincide with the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 in theatres, the Sonic-centric endless runner has made its way to Apple Arcade. Starting today, subscribers to Apple’s gaming service can play as Sega’s iconic mascot and collect a staggering amount of golden rings across 3D environments.

From the game’s description:

Run, jump, and dash through stunning 3D environments as Sonic the Hedgehog and other Sonic characters in this fun racing & endless runner game. Run and race past challenging obstacles in this fast and frenzied endless running game by SEGA!

Alongside Sonic, players can jump in and take control of Tails, Knuckles, and more.

Sonic Dash first launched in March 2013 and was developed by Hardlight. It then received a sequel, focused on the Sonic Boom series. Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom even included Apple Watch integration via its companion app. Sonic Dash+ is being treated as a spinoff of the original and is exclusive to Apple Arcade.

Sonic Dash+ features the same endless runner gameplay loop of the series. Of course, being an Apple Arcade title, players can dash, run, and collect without being interrupted by the ads the original game features.

Apple Arcade is available in Canada for $5.99/month.
