Canada’s leading digital bank Tangerine has today announced its plans to launch Visa Debit later this fall, giving Chequing Clients a new, convenient, and secure way to pay. By teaming up with Visa Canada, Tangerine will become the first exclusively digital bank in Canada to offer Visa Debit.
Back in June, Tangerine made it easier for customers to sign up for a bank account by simply uploading a scan of their photo ID and confirming it by taking a selfie, right from the Tangerine Mobile app on iOS and Android.
Soon, Tangerine Chequing Clients will get more control over their spending with added security features like Visa Zero Liability protection. Customers will be able to choose from two card designs – a bold matte orange or a sleek grey, both with vertical designs and finished with metallic logos.
