Longtime TELUS executive, Brent Johnston, has started a new position at Apple Canada as their Senior Managing Director. The news was first reported by MobileSyrup earlier this morning. After the story went live, Johnston updated his LinkedIn profile to confirm the new role, which started this month.

Johnston started at TELUS back in 2005 as the VP of Mobility Solutions, a role he held for over a decade, until he became the wireless carrier’s senior VP of Consumer Marketing in May of 2014, a position he held until last month.
