TELUS Launches Network Experience iPhone App for Network Feedback

TELUS has announced the launch of their new TELUS Network Experience app, which allows customers to report network issues and provide feedback right from the app, which the carrier says they are the first in Canada to do so:.

We are thrilled to be the first Canadian carrier to launch a Network Experience App! This easy-to-use mobile app will give you the opportunity to provide real time, on the go feedback about our network. You heard right – we want you to tell us when you’re experiencing network issues, as they are happening. This feedback will help us prioritize our network expansion and improvements. Think of it as voting your way to a better network experience.

Essentially if you are experiencing dropped calls or poor signal in your area, reporting it via this app lets TELUS know where they need to improve their network. It’s an efficient way to crowdsource your customers for feedback. Users can also read about changes in the network within the news section. The app also does not use any of your data when sending feedback.

Just did it… They should put a big warning sign on Google Translate. “THIS IS NOT A PROFESSIONNAL SERVICE AND SHOULD NOT BE USED FOR BUSINESS”.

Seriously. Not optimized for the iPhone 5? Oh Telus. If you make an app for phones on your service, at least make sure your app is optimized for every device you sell! Sheesh
