For the golfers out there, this week marks the start of the prestigious Masters tournament at Augusta National. To celebrate this week, here are some notable golf apps worth downloading and checking out: Tiger Woods My Swing, Tiger Woods PGA Tour, and TSN at the Masters (a reminder).
Tiger Woods My Swing – The Official Tiger Woods iPhone App
This is Tiger Wood’s official iPhone app and it’s an awesome one. You can see video lessons from Tiger himself, plus it will also capture your swing and compare it to Tiger’s using every single club in the bag. It’s a powerful app made by the makers of GolfShot:

The app retails for $9.99, but offers lots of value with the videos along from Tiger Woods. I’m glad they teamed up with the makers of GolfShot, as their apps are always great.
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2012
If you’ve played the original Tiger Woods PGA Tour, the new 2012 version brings an improvement to gameplay and the graphics. The latter ‘pops’ out on the iPhone 4’s Retina Display.
New features include the Tiger Challenge and ‘Closest to the Pin’ Facebook challenges. There’s currently a Lite version if you want to take it for a spin. The app is available for $6.99, but watch out as EA always has surprise sales. I’m going to be picking this up for sure.
Reminder: TSN Masters Live iPhone app
Just a friendly reminder to download the TSN at the Masters iPhone app. It provides live TV coverage from the Masters tournament right on your iPhone. It doesn’t get any better plus it’s free. Click here to download it.
