According to Tesla, the Supercharger is located at 382 Rue Saint Jean, located next to Tim Hortons and across the street from McDonald’s, offering 8 Supercharger stalls, available 24/7, with up to 120kW charging capabilities.
This marks the third Tesla Supercharger to go live in New Brunswick, with two others currently open in Aulac and Waasis.
There previously was a Tesla Supercharger planned for Edmundston, located a short drive northwest of Saint-Léonard, but that project appears to be cancelled now, given the close proximity to this new location, according to members of the Tesla Motors Club.
Last month, Tesla opened a new Supercharger station in Mississauga, Ontario.
CEO Elon Musk recently claimed full self-driving features are expected to come by the end of 2019, while Tesla also plans to launch a leasing program for its entry Model 3 soon.
