This past Sunday, Best Buy announced Apple Watch sales would launch at it stores in the USA on August 7, with over 300 stores to carry the Apple Watch Sport and Apple Watch models by the holiday shopping season.
Earlier today, Best Buy Canada announced stores here would start selling Apple Watch on August 14, first reported by MobileSyrup.
Best Buy communications manager Elliott Chun similarly confirmed to us Apple Watch would begin online Apple Watch sales and within 20 retail locations on August 14.
An Apple Canada spokesperson provided the following statement via email to iPhone in Canada:
“Customers love Apple Watch, and we are thrilled to begin offering it at Best Buy locations across Canada starting August 14. More than 50 Best Buy stores will carry Apple Watch and Apple Watch Sport models in time for the holiday shopping season.”
Once Apple Watch hits Best Buy retail stores, the smart watch will be sold alongside other smartwatches, such as Pebble Time, which launched three days ago at the retailer for $249.99 CAD.
Apple Watch’s arrival within Best Buy will allow customers to try on and go hands-on with the iPhone maker’s smartwatch, particularly those without an Apple Store in their area.
