Apple Releases watchOS 5.1.1 Download: Should Not Brick Your Apple Watch This Time

After releasing watchOS 5.1 last week, the update sadly bricked numerous Apple Watches for users, with no recourse available, other than calling into support and asking for a replacement to be mailed out. Apple quickly pulled the update shortly after.

Apple hopes to remedy this SNAFU with today’s release of watchOS 5.1.1, now available for download. Again, this time around it should not brick anybody’s Apple Watch, but if you’re paranoid, wait a day or two just in case.
