Mobile Minute Tracker for Rogers

Hey all!

If you are with Rogers Wireless for cellular service and either want to track your mobile usage for individual or family plan accounts or have a plan with limited minutes, then I think most of you Rogers customers out there will find this application to be very useful.

Mobile Minute Tracker by Pageonce Inc

The name of the app says it all. Track your mobile usage. The app provides a very simple and easy to use interface and comes packed with features.

When you open the app, you are asked to enter your Rogers Wireless online account information. After you enter that, you are presented with a page that has two tabs at the top; Usage and Bills. Under the “Usage” tab the app lists your minutes and data usage and under the “Bills” tab the app lists your current balance, when the payment is due, a bill summary, and a button to make a payment.

You also get a few options by way of turning on/off alerts, passwords, or sound effects within the app.

My account information was not updated yet, so I cannot provide you with real-time pictures, but here are some examples:

Mobile Minute Tracker for Rogers provides you with last-bill tracking of your usage, alerts, payments, and account balance. I will list some of the other available features below:

  • You can view current minute balance, data usage, SMS usage, billing cycle, and previous payments
  • Receive alerts when you reach 90% of your limit or when your bill it due
  • A breakdown of information by family member (if you have a Rogers Family Plan)
  • You can view and pay your account balance directly from the app

All in all, the app is quite useful and the best part is that it is free! So if you are with Rogers Wireless, jump on this!

You can get it here at the iTunes AppStore.

This calls for a Calls a Class Action Suit against Rogers. Consumers should have the right to be able to know what they are spending. It’s a basic Consumer Protection issue. Lets Sue them!… The Credit Card companies just lost a class action suit over fees…. Rogers and Fido are next!

I tried this app and was hopefull. The first data shown was from my previous bill. this went on for 2 weeks with the same data being displayed. I put in a support request and 2 days later recieved an Email stating that Rogers only provides data from the previous bill. This app does NOT show live data. I already know what I used by reading the bill they Email to me so this app is of no use.

Having said that, this is a Rogers issue, not a fault of the App.

    Thanks
    Phil

You are providing people with erroneous info in this posting. This tracker does NOT provide real-time info as you claim because Rogers has chosen not to make such info available to it's customers. All that the app does is to allow you to tap into your online Rogers account and to view last months stats. If you want to avoid spreading false info, you should do your homework.

Did you have a bad day at work today?

    Sorry to hear that.

  • johnod

If you were truly sorry, you'd correct the error in your article.

Oh I have corrected it, on word from the Developer. But I'm not really sorry
    :)

  • johnod

I appreciate your honesty, and your quick correction of the error. In fact, you were correct in wondering whether I had had a bad day when I wrote my original comment. Sorry to be so negative.

Not a problem. The negativity is why I was somewhat quick with you.

I really do appreciate you and this community's keen observations, but when
it's negative, it becomes difficult to listen to that person.

In my defense however, when the app was first released, it was reported as
“real-time”. Only recently had the change been noted in the iTunes App Store
and I do not normally go back and re-read old posts.

But I would very much appreciate if you did and dropped a note every once in
    a while.

On a positive note, I hope you told your boss to stick it (or if you are the
boss, told the employee to eat it.)

    :)

Hmmm…..breakdown of family plan info, really? I've begged them to set something up exactly for that reason and it didn't happen. So I've never found the family plan breakdown.
Plus, the Pageonce doesn't start the next month on the first day. There is a delay. Are they giving
me two or more days free? Or are they adding up the minutes used whether I can see it or not?
Plus, when opening the app, it would often say, account unaccessible or something to that effect.
I got tired of it. Any other ideas??
