Japanese site Mac Otakara has shared a quick hands-on video of what appears to be an alleged ‘iPhone 7 Plus’ dummy unit, in the rumoured colour dark blue. The site says the model was acquired off online retailer Alibaba in China, and the unit shows off rumoured features, such as the protruding dual-lens iSight camera, revamped antenna lines, and lack of 3.5mm headphone jack.
Also shown is an ‘iPhone 7’ dummy unit, with a larger iSight camera and missing headphone jack, compared next to the iPhone 6s; meanwhile the ‘iPhone 7 Plus’ is detailed next to a Rose Gold iPhone 6s Plus.
Mac Otakara says based on observations from their ‘iPhone 7’ dummy units, the latter’s ear-piece is wider compared to the iPhone 6s, suggesting screen protectors made for the latter won’t fit the next model.
While we’ve seen pictures of an alleged blue ‘iPhone 7 Plus’, this is the first time we’ve seen this colour shared on video:
Back in June, Mac Otakara said its sources claimed a new colour option for the ‘iPhone 7’ would be a deeper blue, closer to black, which is what the dummy unit in the aforementioned video suggests.
