The Story Behind the TurboSIM Revealed

Remember the days when 1.1.2 OTB iPhone owners had to patiently wait for an unlock to be released? Then word came out about a “SIM” solution could magically trick your iPhone into letting any carrier SIM to be used? If you’re thinking about the TurboSIM, it was the original “SIM” solution. It definitely took the world by storm, and Business Week has an excellent article about the story here.

The article interviews Pavel Zaboj, co-founder of Prague’s Bladox, maker of the TurboSIM card and is an interesting read. Consider it the original solution that spawned the release of similar solutions, E.G. the StealthSIM and other Chinese knock-offs (these solutions most likely have had their prices hit rock bottom now that 1.1.2 and 1.1.3 OTB iPhones can be unlocked!). Anyone out there still using their “SIM” solution?
