Review: “Coosh” Headphones

Hey all!

Before we begin, congratulations to Jonathan B. for being the chosen winner of the Contour Case! His winning entry is posted below! Haha! I love it!

Today’s post will be a headphone review of the Coosh Headphones for the iPhone 3G.

Coosh headphones by Coosh.com

So today we are going to step away from the typical reviews of cases and such and focus on something a little different…headphones. Now I know there are some of you out there so simply just despise the Apple supplied headphones your iPhone. Well, if that sounds familiar, this review if for you!

The headphones are called Coosh and well, they are probably the most comfortable pair of headphones I have ever tried on. These headphones are the type that have the easy to wear ring that wraps around your ear so they stay on really well. But that is not the amazing thing here, the amazing thing is the headphones are made from extremely comfortable silicone. I know this will sound silly, but when you put them on, you will forget they are there. They are THAT light and soft.

The iPhone pair also comes with a in-line headset with push-to-answer (very similar to the current iPhone headset setup) and mute buttons and the ear buds themselves are detachable if for some reason you do not want to use the silicones wraps or just want to swap it out for another color (also comes in black).

So, what about sound? Well, I do not consider myself an audiophile, but when compared to the iPhone headphones that come with the phone, these sound better. The bass seems deeper and the sound seems more full bodied which gives me a better listening experience. In other words, these headphones are fantastic! It is really unfortunate that I want to give these away because I really do not (hehe) but I am of a giving heart. So, how do you get the most comfortable headphones ever? Well that’s easy! Read below!

To win (a totally brand new pair by the way), send me a picture with your iPhone headphones on your pet! The contest will end on Friday January 2, 2009 at 11:59pm PST.

The Coosh headphones can also be picked up from the Coosh online store

Enjoy!

The beats by Dr. Dre you guys reviewed earlier seem to be among one of the hated ones by audiophiles at head-fi.org

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important. Have you tried the ipad? you can get one free at FreshGiftCard.com
