How to Watch South Park Episodes on the iPhone
Last fall, the creators of South Park submitted an application to have a South Park app in the App Store. This app would let you watch every single episode of South Park ever created on your iPhone. South Park fans around the world screamed with joy.
However, as we soon found out Apple denied the application twice, citing that its content would be deemed “offensive”. This is a bit hypocritical on Apple’s part since they sell uncensored South Park episodes in the US iTunes Store. Go figure! Here’s what the South park team had to say:
We first announced our iPhone App back in October, after we submitted the Application to Apple for approval. After a couple of attempts to get the application approved, we are sad to say that our app has been rejected. According to Apple, the content was “potentially offensive.” But Apple did admit that the standards would evolve, citing that when iTunes first launched it didn’t sell any music with explicit lyrics. At this point, we are sad to say, the app is dead in the water. Sorry, South Park fans.
Are you disappointed that you can’t watch South Park on your iPhone? Think again folks! South Park Mobile has now been released in Cydia (which will require a jailbroken iPhone), free for download! The app is supported by donations which keeps the app running and free.
The app has episodes from all 13 seasons of South Park. You just choose your season and select and episode and you’ll be watching Cartman swear in no time. Check out these screenshots:
There you have it folks, an amazing app that was originally destined for the App Store, but denied by Apple. Looks like Cydia has officially become the grounds for apps that don’t cut the grade with Apple. Nevertheless, South Park Mobile will give you hours on end of tasteless laughter!

I have this app for a few days, it’s great! I just can’t figure how to play downloaded episodes
I would like to know to…. How to play the episodes
Great app. They now have a FAMILY GUY app, kick a$$!
Feel free to comment over at the forums… https://www.iphoneincanada.ca/forums/showthread.php?t=4640
How do you get the family guy app?
Same way you get the southpark one..
through Cydia 😛
Download from Cydia, its the same thing as the South Park app. The south Park app did have the option to watch family guy, not sure if it still does.
Good luck 😉
it’s not there
looked for “family” in cydia… couldnt find it
repo.sleepers.net/cydia/
Add that source for the iFamilyGuy App
Thanks. I found out on Twitter to add the sleepers.net repo earlier today. Seems like the servers are down for everything though!
Sorry for reposting but I can’t believe there are no readers from Montréal on this forum? Come on guys..
Hi there!
I am looking to find out what voicemail retrieval numbers do people in Montreal use? It should be a local 514 number. I used to be able to use any of the two numbers listed in this thread http://www.howardforums.com/archive/topic/913346-1.html
whenever I travelled from Toronto to Montreal to check my voice messages without incurring long distance charges but now both of them don’t work!
If anybody has a local Montreal (514) number to retrieve their voicemail, that would be great. The number can be located by holding 1 for a while and then going into your recent call list and looking at the number (on any other phone besides iPhone) or dial *#61# and press CALL for iPhones. Although the problem with iPhone would be that it may give a deposit number instead of retrieval number but any local 514 number would be great!
Merci 😉
Hey Shahrukh
Try posting ur comment in the forums, you’ll hopefully get some replies there. 😉
The number I get when I enter *#61# is 1.647.801.4873
That’s a local toronto number. If you’re from Montreal, shouldn’t you be dialing a 514 number to check your voicemail. That must be long distance for you! Anyway, I figured out the local Montreal VM number is 514 992 1188. Thanks anyway!
The only reason its “offensive” is they wont make money off the episodes you can watch for free on the program. They sell them all on the store already. What business would give a product away for free or pay a small amount at first and after allowing you to get all the other products after free? i imagine apple make more money sellin each episode of south park seprate.
So true…… They probably should offer episodes only that apple is done making enormous profits from.. Then they could see the “potentially offensive.”ness magically go away.
Wow, I can’t believe I didn’t think about that.
I’m not saying it’s the only reason they didn’t approve it, but holy crap I can’t believe I overlooked that.
I think a lack of solid communication between departments probably had a lot to do with this as well. If a different department is approving iPhone Apps as Audio/Video media, I’d expect issues like this to arise. Hopefully they’ll resolve it and let this be a legit app too.
That shutdown southpark mobile in cydia so don't bother
Thanks for the heads up
ITS ONLY IN ITALIAN ON CYDIA -LOL- DONT BOTHER IF YOU SPEAK ENGLISH!
